Before the formation of Anamalai Tiger Reserve in 2007, it was known as Anamalai Wildlife Sanctuary and was renamed Indira Gandhi Wildlife Sanctuary and National Park. It is located near Pollachi, Tamil Nadu, India, in the Anamalai mountain range. If you wish to witness mangrove forests, teak plantations, bamboo trees, and breathtaking views, Anamalai Tiger Reserve is a terrific destination to visit with your family. There are numerous animals and birds you've never seen or heard of, like panthers, tigers, elephants, deer, wild dogs, civets, porcupines, jackals, black-headed oriole, red treepie, racket-tailed drongo, and many more.
